What makeup to wear with a red prom dress?

Hi! :)

I am trying to figure out what makeup colors (eyes and lips) I should pair with a cool, blue-based (but still bright) colored red satin prom dress. It's strapless and has a ball gown skirt.

Thank you! :) Yes I was thinking that too :P I decided probably an unnoticable natural dark pink tint? I have one of Maybelline's colorwhisper lip colors and it matches with the dress, but in a lighter and more muted shade. What do you think? :)
