You put half water half bleach in a bucket and put the bottom part into the bleach. When I bleached my shorts I had to leave it in over night so I would probably do the same with then

What I do is fill the sink with water and a small amount of bleach, and hang the shorts over the edge. Check on them very frequently because they will start to fade quickly!

Put them out in the sun and then spray them with bleach and leave them there to dry a bit until they get the color you want or you can do what I did was fill the sink with some water and bleach and dipped the shorts in there for about 20 minutes then took them out to air dry then rinsed them with water and washed them. But before I bleached them, I cut them that way when they bleach it comes out like that. Then you can just stud them. I made a cross on my back pocket with the studs and I love them!
