Try curling your lashes then putting clear mascara 1st, let it dry then apply your regular mascara. it helps lessen clumping and it adds more hold to the curl:)

Try not to contour further in than the outer corner of your eye, it can close your face off.

Exfoliate your lips and apply balm before lipstick for smooth application

If you put say black eyeliner on your waterline take a angled eyeliner brush and dip it in black eyeshadow. After you do that press it on the water line. This will not only make your line a bit darker but it will last a lot longer. The powder kind of acts like a gel because when you mix the liquid from your eyes with it it becomes like a paste and helps keep it on a lot longer. I do it all the time.

You can use a spoon to help with a good winged liner, curl your lashes, and apply mascara.

I have found tape to be the best thing for winged liner! Just make sure you put it on the back if your hand and rip off a couple of times before putting on your face so it's not so harsh when you take it off.

Translucent powder before liquid foundation , makes it lasts longer and it helps with oil control if you have oily skin like me

Running an ice cube all over your face in the morning before make up, closes your pores and makes a smooth canvas for your make up:)

Milk of magnesia as a primer for oily skin this will absorb all of your oil and make any makeup you put over it have a complete matte finish,
Monistat chafing relief powder gel as a primer for normal, dry, combination, oily skin- really works for anyone & minimizes pores and leaves skin silky smooth, as well as being a moisturizer,
Cold spoons (put in freezer) and hold to under eye circles to help minimize puffiness, help you look more awake in the mornings, will reduce any swelling & help under eye bags disappear (though this won't change their color it will make them a lot less noticeable, If not gone completely- you will still need to color correct under eyes if you have dark circles,
Using a toothbrush, sugar, or wet washcloth on lips to exfoliate them before applying any concealer, lip liner, lipstick, or lip product- also using concealer on lips as a base before applying lipstick will make lipstick last longer,
Applying honey to skin and leaving it on for five-ten minutes and then wiping off with a wet rag, this will help moisturize skin naturally, this will help anyone with really dry skin,
Pat powder into skin after foundation instead of swirling it around on face- patting will help set foundation better & hold it in place all day,
Use a pressed powder 3-4 shades darker (or more if you'd like) than your foundation as a natural looking matte bronzer and/or to contour with,
Use Sally Hansen spray leg makeup in tan glow or hard candy glow all the way instant bronzing lotion (neither of these are a self tanner) you can use these to add color, warmth to skin to give you a sun kissed glow for the day (these wash off when you shower), or you can use them (I do) to contour your body/face& jawline- but make sure you set them with a makeup setting spray when dry just to be safe- to keep from transferring onto clothing,
Using hairspray as a makeup setting spray ( I used to do this in highschool before I bought my makeup setting spray, model in a bottle- amazing stuff btw) just be careful not to spray too close, and make sure it's an aerosol spray, and don't use if you have really sensitive skin- it might break you out,
Use a protein filler in hair before you bleach, color, tone, any color process at all- this will leave you with very minimal damage, if any- also will guarantee evenness of color root to tip!! I also use this as a deep conditioning treatment every few weeks as well, makes your hair so much healthier!
And lastly, using Mac's fix+ spray and any powder pigment, (you can also shave off powder using a knife from bronzers, eyeshadows, blushes, etc) mix the powder with a few sprays or drops of the fix+ (or any other mixing medium) to create liquid liners, shadows, bronzers, blushes, lip stains from shadow/blush powder, or liquid foundations from powder etc. this is great for making your own color of eyeshadow or liner &so fun to play with different products and see what you can create!
Sorry this is so long! I love this thread though Cecile- great idea! I love learning new tips & tricks!! :) xoxo

If you put white eyeshadow above and below your eye it makes it look really shimmery and bright! :)

Maybelline 24 hour concealer is a better eye primer for eyeshadow than any eye primer including too faced shadow insurance and udpp. Also it gives coverage for eyelid discoloration.

Lansinoh lanolin on your lips before bed will make them soft and smooth and easy to exfoliate in the morning.

Gabriella, Thanks! I've started a blog, you can find it on my profile, I just haven't posted anything lately, I've been sooo extremely busy. But I recently just had my blog completely re-designed, so I'm going to start on it regularly next week! Thank you for the compliment though, that's so sweet of you! xo :)

Thanks amanda! :) I really love to learn new things from other people, especially about make up! Another makeup trick girls! If your mascara is already dry and clumpy, dry dipping it in a glass of warm water for 5-10mins, it melts the liquid and helps lessen clumps of mascara when you use it :)

You're welcome! Same goes for adding a few drops of regular contact saline into your mascaras- this will bring the dried out formula back to life :)
