I am so upset right now. my hair got burned and I washed it last night and it still smells burnt. my mom told me that I have no choice but to cut it but I really don't want too but it looks soo bad! like half of my hair has really bad split ends and its a little past my shoulder!I just cut my hair like 9 months ago and its finally getting longer. what should I do?

Also happened to me once. When the hair Burns you have to cut it so that to grow healthy. use of extenshion for the length
(Sorry for my bad English )

Your mom is right. You're going to have to trim off the split ends and burnt parts in order to keep it growing and healthy. :/

Yup that happened to me when I was in middle school I hate the smell of burnt hair, but I didnt cut it off I started using hot oil treatments they really do work. Cutting your hair won't make it grow but it will make it look heathier. If you want to keep the length of your hair then you could cut at least 1inch of your hair off and cut layers into your hair , it worked for me.

I cut my hair already :/ but it still smells burnt. I washed it four times already. My dad said that if my hair still smells burnt in s few days, he's going to take me to salon. I cut my hair at home. Its really short now. I cut about three to four inches off of split ends. My hairs above my shoulders now.

Cut it now! I burnt a small piece of my hair and every night I would have to untangle it! It eventually got worse and worse, so I gave up. Then it started turning into a DREAD LOCK! Get it out now!
