Parissa Persian Cold Wax Strips - Yay or Nay?

Last week, I bought the parissa cold was strips and tried them. The instructions said to rub them between your hands, but didn't elaborate; how long, what should they look like etc. So I tried warming them between my hands for a few minutes (still no change from the state they came in) and used them on my underarms (my legs had just been shaven a few days earlier) and they only took off about a 1/4 of the hair, PLUS they caused some bleeding. So for the other arm,I ran the wax strip under hot water and rubbed it between my hands, and the exact same outcome resulted. have you tried these strips and have any pointers?
