Literally just went through the same thing...I burnt my face REALLY bad, like dark tomatoe bad a couple days ago. what I did was applied 100% natural alor vera (from a bottle) in the morning, once I got home from school and about ten times between then and bed. last night I took black tea or earl gray tea (think thats what it is) and soake two bags in about a cup of water. I applied the tea water to my fafe USING the tea bags. I let it dry and soak in and then applied anothet layer and left it.until morning until I washed it off. STAY OUT OF THE SUN!! I did and its now almost gone oh and drink lots of water...keep hydrated! in the shower avoir hot water on your face and at some point run cold water over it..it sucks but works. oh and no matter how much aloe vera or creams or oils you apply, the burnt dead skin is going to peel off... mine is! good luck!

Aloe is the best. Also take benadryl before you go to bed to reduce the swelling.

Go to CVS and buy the clear aloe vera. (not the green kind--the dyes can irritate burned skin) lather it on before bed and it works wonders(:

Solarcaine is the best for sunburns. It's a miracle worker.
