What exactly are bb creams? What are they good for? What's a good drugstore brand? Thanks dolls!

BB creams are "beauty balms" basically they are tinted moisturizers, but have more ingredients to help keep you skins elasticity and just all around keep your skin healthy and glowing. I personally use the cover girl BB cream and it works well for me. It is VERY light coverage, as most drugstore BB creams are. I have never tried the Maybeline BB cream, but I have heard great things about it :)

BB creams are best for people who want a light natural finish to their skin. They do a great job of evening out redness and brightening you skin and making you look more awake, too!

Depends on the brand I guess, but a good bb cream actually improves your skin, and is moisturizing, so yeah!

Some. Lioele has the most coverage of any bb cream I've tried, it even covered my dark circles fairly well. It's somewhat yellow tinted though, on the downside.

I think if you have dry skin making one would be better. This way unlike drug store ones you can choose how much of everything you put so dry skin = more moisturisers

It is not really a tinted moisturizer. BB means Beauty Balm, it is founded in the eastern lands (asia and so on), so obviously that is where you can find the best BB creams and the best BB brands! A BB cream is a light coverage sort of foundation/tinted moisturizer (but most of them are buildable for example: garniers one). It also hydrates the skin (it is actually meant to be applied without applying a moisturizer first). All BB creams contain SPF, so it is very nice to wear in summer as it feels light on your skin, hydrates and protects your skin with its SPF. Some good BB creams also perfect you skin, after using them a while your skin will look healthyer (but I have not experienced that). It obviously covers up blemishes but I suggest to use a concealer beneath or over it (depending on your dark circles, redness,...). Drugstore brands I have and recommennd are Garnier and Maybelline. High-end: Clinique, Urban Decay or Smashbox! Also something good about BB: it is soooo easy and nice to apply, usually I use the MAC stippling brush for foundation ect. but my BB creams I apply with my hands :) I think BB blends better with my fingers, but for more coverage I recommend using a stippling brush!
