The easiest way to do it is to lean over and flip all of your hair over your head and cut it all even. When you flip back over you have layers! :)

Part your hair in sections and, starting from bottom to top, cut. Your hair should be cut gradually shorter with each new part. You should try going on YouTube for references.

When I cut my hair I part my hair down the middle then on either side I make three even sections and pony tail them at the front of my head. From there I take the first section on side 1 at the top of my head out of the pony tail and take a little bit of hair from my bang line or the front of my scalp where the middle part is and pull it down my face and cut where I want my layers to begin. After that I take all of the hair from the first section pull it forward so it's in front of my face and cut evenly with the smaller section I cut before. Next I do the same with the other side and when both sides are done I compare to make sure they're even, not messing with the part, just in case I have to cut again. When I see what I like I pull the hair up on top of my head so it doesn't get in the way and just repeat that process with every section on both sides and bammm! Layered hair! But a tip is that you want to cut your hair at leasttt a centimeter longer than your desired length because you can always go shorter but you can't go longer.! Also if the thought of cutting your own hair scares you, don't even life the scissors! Get it professionally done!

Nope. I'd probably end up chopping off a ton of my hair:-)

Buy a pair if thinning scissors. They will make layers look a bit more natural.
