I ombred my hair and thought it would be fun to dye the bottom blue... bad idea. I cut most of it off, I dyed it a darker chocolate brown but now it's kinda silver/dark green. It's terrible! It's at least 2 inches of it! Prom is this Saturday... Any suggestions?? Thank you! :-)

You probably used a "N" or neutral based hair dye (usually the boxed type) which has a greenish base to it. If it's about 80% brown still, I recommend dying it a second time, however if your hair is still brittle from all the processing you may want to wait a few days (possibly do it thursday or friday).
An even safer route would be to have a stylist take a look at it if you can afford it and have the time before prom. He or she can use a demi permanent color over the top which has less ammonia and isn't as damaging.
Alternatively if you have a beauty supply near your house you can look for a demi permanent color (if you're matching the top of your hair in your profile picture, I recommend a 2N or a 3N). Use a very low volume developer as you don't want to lift the color, only deposit the color (10 volume should be fine).
Good luck!

If dying don't work and you have no choice and have to hide it 4 prom go to your craft store and buy pastelchalk and get the brown one out and save your har 4 atleast that night.

Color oops! I have heard many good things about it... It's a sulfur based fluid that shrinks the dye molecules so you wash them out, it's much less damaging than bleach.
