Unless they changed the formula in recent years, there is a high likelihood that your hair will turn orange. Definitely do a test strand before spraying it all over your hair

If you have any sort of red tint in your natural hair(I'm not sure about colored hair; I don't have it and it says not to use it if it's colored) then it will turn your hair orange if you repeatedly use it! My sister did, and her hair is a light orange color because she hasn't realized at the time but I, also, used it and it actually turned my hair caramel(I didn't use as often as she did); however, I have more caramel/ash tones in my natural hair!

I tried that and it actually made my hair go yellow/orange. I switched to John Frieda's go blonder spray and love it. No brassiness at all :)

Does it damage your hair like dye?

It will dry out your hair. Any chemical applied to the hair and then exposed to heat (and in the case of Sun-In, UV rays) will damage the hair at least a little.
