Don't bite it takes about some weeks it helps if you tap your fingers a lot and focuse on tht instead of biting.

Are they naturally slow growing, or do you have trouble getting length because they're brittle and breaking off? If it's the latter, I recommend a nail treatment like Nailtiques. This won't make your nails grow faster, but your nails will be stronger and less prone to breaking. Many people say biotin helps with growing nails and hair, but I haven't tried that so I can't say personally how it works. Also make sure you're staying hydrated because if your nails are dry they're going to break easier.

Live a healthy life style! Take vitamins, eat right, work out, rid yourself of negativity, try to be stress free. I know it seems silly but to be healthy you need to be positive; to be positive you need to take care of yourself! :)

Also try a top coat/hardener!
