If you thin your hair too much, it well stay permanently that way (takes a while). This will cause you problems when your older and your stops growing, starts thinning, etc. I suggest getting choppy layers. Your hair will be able to grow back and it's healthier, while also giving you the thin hair yo want.

My hair is SUPER thick too. I just get lots of layers, so it is easier to manage.
