Help! Glittery Nails

So I go to a Private school and we aren't allowed to wear colored nail polish. I always have my nails done with pink gel. Over Easter break I put some clear nail polish on with confetti glitter. It turned out super awesome... But today is my last day of spring break and I need the glitter off today and my nail polish remover isn't doing the trick. Any suggestions?

Haha I got a French manicure like last month. And I swear I have never seen my teachers flip out as much as they did when they saw my nails!

Soak your nails in rubbing alchohol before using the nail polish remover.

Soak nail varnish remover on a cotton pad, set it ontop of your nail and wrap with tin foil, leave it a little while and it should come right off!

I just tried the tin foil thing with a paper towel (couldn't find cotton balls) and it didn't work 
:(
