So I'm posting this for my younger sister. She is 21 and is still battling acne! She is wondering if anyone has any suggestions to help her out. Any specific products that help treat acne? She has combination/ oily skin.
I never had a huge problem with acne so I'm not very knowledgeable in that department!
THANK YOU! xoxo

She may have allergies to dairy and or gluten. Otherwise there are mixed responses on whether certain products work or not. I found using a Norwex cloth to wash my face and moisturizing after works well. It depends on your body though and if it is allergy related then there is a slimmer chance that acne treatments will work as well. Hope this helps your sister.

I use Neutrogena Rapid Clear and I love it and I have combo skin too. Proactiv also worked great for me but it just depends on the person.

I had really bad acne and oily skin too. I tried proactive but it doesn't work. What I use is neutrogena oil control foam face wash and an oil free moisturizer in the morning. Then at night I use both of them plus epiduo. The epiduo sells for about $200 but if you have insurence and/or go to a dermitaligist, it's usually either free or like $30 for me. And you only need a tiny bit so it lasts a while.

Is she open to a cheap prescription? I've been taking minocin, an antibiotic for acne since I was about 27 and I can't go without it. Also, I've heard people say that neutrogena T Gel Shampoo ( I know!) had been recommended by their dermatologist.

I was the same and if I don't stick to my routine of washing with face wash every night and only water in the morning and toner 3x a week I break out. its getting better now that I'm getting older.

Aztec Indian Healing Clay mixed with apple cider vinegar once a week. I'm hormonal acne prone and it's really helped.
