Hi guys,
So my hair has for some reason not been able to keep curly for more than about 2-3 hours. I use hot rollers or my curling iron and strong hairspray. Any ideas how to make them stay longer or what I'm doing wrong?

Freeze it hairspray holds ridiculously well... It gets a little crunchy at first, but if you just squeeze the curls, they soften up and still hold... And its cheap!

I spray before I start curling and a little after I'm done, might help.

Maybe use a moose before starting to help hold it

My mom has the same problem, I curled her hair this morning with the herstyler curling wand and the curls are still in. I was shocked, but if you don't want to buy a new styler I would just recommend talking to a stylist so they can help you find the products that.will be best for.you =)

What Millie & Emily said are true.. True putting like a hairspray or moose in first, but be careful because with weak hair this can break it so easily!... Be careful!

Never do what emily said, it's so so so so so so so so bad for your hair!!
Buy a laquer to hold it afterwards & use a quart of a can. It will freeze rock solid. I do it for work as my hair doesn't hold well either :)

I have a heat protector with a little bit of hair spray type stuff in it so it gives you a bit of hold. I like it. Can't remember the brand at the moment, but its in a pink bottle.

Use less conditioner or a lighter formula on days that you want curls so that it doesn't weigh the hair down so much. Also, pin the curls up until the hair cools. Works like a charm :)

If your hair is thin try using a wand , my hair will not hold curls with a normal curling iron , the wand makes the curls last without hairspray and you can even sleep with your curls , it also works great for thin hair.

Curls stay better when hair is dirtier and are more likely to stop out if its just been cleaned

If you curl your hair from bottom to top it for some reason flattens rather quickly. try curling from mid shafts to the root and slowly sliding it down for better hold. hope this helps.

You can also try washing your hair the night before, the slight amount of oils helps hold.
