Powder foundation all the way sweetie! It's good that you have oily skin sometimes it means you're well hydrated! Try that and see how it works for you it works for my clients!

Try and wash your face with cold water in the morning so it'll remove the moist from your skin a bit. (:

If you're looking for a foundation then you should go one with a matte finish such as makeup Forever's mat velvet + or for a drugstore, you can use Revlon's colorstay although it might be heavy. If you want light coverage I think you would be fine with just a powder foundation or a light liquid foundation that is set with a powder. :)

I'm super oily too and I have my fair share of foundations. Revlon, l'oreal, mac, their foundations made me greasy in no time. The best thing I've tried so far is Laura Mercier's oil free foundation, but it's just okay considering the price and I've heard they changed the formula. I'm too still looking for my HG foundation, I've heard so many raves about MUFE mat velvet +, bare minerals matte, and clinique's stay matte, for even higher end cosmetics Lancome gets the most praise. For drugstore ones I want to try Buorjois mousse and 123 perfect foundation, and No7 beautifully matte but sadly they're only available in UK.
Oily skin can get dehydrated too, so don't get confuse between oil and water, so you still need to moisturize your skin, use the oil free one. Then use primer as a barrier between your skin and your makeup. Loose setting powder helps to minimize the shine. And blotting paper is a must.
Hope it helps :)
