Hi there, I think that the best way to get the right shade of foundation is to go a place like MAC or sephora where they can try the shades on you, like that you can get right color and take it from there, the girls there are usually pretty good and they can give you good suggestions.., sorry if is not much help...

When trying liquid foundations test it on your jaw line cheek and under eye area.If you happen to try out the department stores don't be quick to buy it just yet because the lighting is different in the stores, you want to go outside and see what it looks like in natural lighting first.It makes a world of difference.
