I bought benefit hervana blush almost a year ago and have always noticed it to have a weird, dry texture and almost completely translucent! Today I visited benefit and swatched their tester of hervana and it was so pigmented and smooth! Any ideas on what to do? Has this happened to anyone? PLEASE HELP!! Btw: it's too late to return it..

You may have gotten a bad batch. Sometimes they change the formula too. Use it up as a highlighter and then repurchase the new formula. Another fantastic blush (and one of my personal favourites) is Coralista and Bella Bamba.

Both by benefit.

Sutton is right, maybe a bad batch. But it can also mean your blush has gone bad. Yes, makeup expires. Blushes usually should be thrown out within two years. But if you see a weird film, green tint, different texture, smells different.. Throw it out. Bacteria harvesting in powders can cause it to expire more quickly.

They may have changed the formula? The only thing you can do is try and use it up as something else and buy a new one if you like the product :)

It couldn't be bad because it has always been like that- since I bought it..I bought it when it first came out in Australia, this time last year so it is possible the formula has changed :)
