I am going on a trio in india. I heard stories about how electric appliances burn in India when we take it from canada because of the different voltage. So do you guys know any particular straightener that will be able to handle Indian voltage. Basically have dual voltage or univ voltage to avoid the burning out. Thanks.

Almost every straightener is dual voltage nowadays. Just read the voltage on it. 110-220V.
