I am in need of makeup brushes. And I really want to buy them from sigma. I just don't know if I should do it or not? All the brushes I need are about 170 dollars... Help??

If they're for personal use you can get away with lower end brands - ELF has some really impressive brushes in their studio line

I hear great reviews about real technique brushes etc.

For professional use I do recommend a bit of a splurge since in the long run youll definitely be saving money.

Sigma brushes are a great deal for both personal and professional use. I have 2 of their sets- basic and pro and love all of them.

I have a big mix in my kit from low to high end brands but have never had any issues or worries when it came to the ones I spent more on.

I have a mix of brands that include: MAC, Real Techniques, Sigma, Make Up For Ever, Coastal Scents, IT Cosmetics, and Bdellium tools. Of the least expensive, Bdellium and real techniques are my faves.

Good makeup brushes are a must! realtechniques and sigma are some really good and inexpensive ones. I'm a professional freelance makeup artist and licensed esthetician, the right brushes make a huge difference. Thesee are one thing you should definitely splurge on.

If you like them, can afford them, and they make your work look nice, why not? It will make things so much easier.
