For those people saying that you don't need to kill sheep for the fur, well you don't, but the material on the outside of uggs is suede. Suede is treated leather, and to get that they have to skin the sheep. Either way, uggs are pretty uggly in my opinion and there are better things to spend 200+ dollars on.

I think it's wonderful that you shared this brand with us! I get so upset when I find the terrible conditions of animals who are bred, it breaks my heart knowing that they have to be put through that! I do not own a pair of uggs and now I never will! I will definetely look into this brand thank you so much xx

Uggs don't "torture sheep"?! It's just the wool on the sheep there's no sheep skin. Shaving the sheep do not harm them.

Abby, that's so true! I'm against this kind of thing (meat and everything) but I let people have their opinions. People can't say "we were meant to eat animals" because we were also meant to use animals as other resources (ex: clothing)

Yeah I know the screenshot says that they do in fact kill the sheep for their sheepskin. That's true. And yes we were, our teeth show that we are supposed to eat meat. Our body also needs meat (or protein) to be healthy. I wasn't "acting like I know everything". I'm 15, obviously I don't. I was just stating my opinion, it may be wrong, but it's my opinion for right now. I don't buy any of that kind of stuff (vegetarian) and I don't buy like things that are tested on animals and I don't eat eggs unless they are from a local farm. I got uggs this year but had no idea it was like that.. But I already have them so I guess I have to use them. And I'm pretty religious, so I know what you're talking about. Episcopalian. But, doesn't that make hunting wrong too? Or no? But why I was trying to justify "my mindless animal torture" is just for other people. I don't do it cause I'm an animal person, so. I actually use to use makeup that was tested on animals until I did a project on animal testing last year and saw a bunch of videos where I would cry my head off lol. So now I never buy products that have tested or where the finished product has been tested. I hope you do the same if you're doing this thread and you're a vegetarian, hopefully.

Brittney, not with the eggs since the chickens can run around and aren't stuck in little cages there whole life. I don't know about sheepskin though.
