It's very important to get a quality lash glue. I like Revlon's Lash Adhesive ($8). For beginners, get one with a clear finish so it's easier to tell when it's dried.

Start by applying a thin layer of glue on the lashband. The Revlon lash glue has a brush tip applicator so it's easy to just paint some on.

Let it get tacky. Wait about 30sec-1 min. It's so important to let it get sticky or they'll slide around the lid.

Push on the lashes starting at the inner corner. Press them on as close to the real lashes as possible, NOT on top of them. Start bending the falsies to match the shape of your eye. Press as you go. Readjust as necessary. Keep gentle and still.

Good luck!

Also, if you want a very detailed and precise video, Lisa Eldridge on youtube makes a very clear one.

My BIGGEST tip:
-Put a bit of glue on the back of your hand
-dip the hard end of an old makeup brush into the glue
-sweep the glue along the lashband

Use a tweezer to hold the lashes while you put them on...
