So I have a personal question for you ladies... Do you wax or shave the bikini area? And if you wax what brand do you buy from the store or do you get it professionally done?

I wax and you should always have a professional do it. You could seriously hurt yourself.

I shave :)

I wax. Sometimes I do it myself using a honey wax that I heat up in a warmer but sometimes I go in and have it done by a pro just for the luxury aspect of it. I used to shave and encountered so many issues...skin darkening, ingrowns, and limited stubble free time. Waxing gives me super smooth skin in that region and no insane irritation. If you decide DIY wax go to a pro first for a few times so you see the process and then invest in the appropriate tools to do it at home...wax, warmer, linen cloths, sticks.

I have shaved for 8 years now and just recently got my first bikini wax. Waxing all the way now! It's so much better.

Waxing only. I do a modified Brazilian by a pro about every month and a half. Would never, ever, EVER go back to shaving. Not for all the tea in China.

I'm a beauty therapist and waxing is more effective and lasts a long time so if you have a high pain threshold then go for it, you so have to let it grow quite long everytime you want waxing to get the best result, I shave personally, only because I hate the pain, plus I hate to let it grow so that's another reason I can't get waxed.

I tried the at home wax and I'd rather sport a 70's bush than go through that again lol
