I wouldn't be to worried about the growing out process. There are things you can do to make it look good still like switching your part to the opposite side. If you really wanna do it, I say go for it girl! ;)

Don't get it shaved right up to where you part is normally. make your part farther down that way when you feel like doing something different or its growjng out you can part it where you normally would and it will be covered. I know ppl who got it shaved high up and hate it when its in its awkward growing out stage so I got mine lower down and its super simple to cover up! I personally think you can rock it! not many people can :)

Do it!! I'm currently growing my shaved part out. I loved having my hair like this and I bet you will too. Growing it out is not as bad as I thought it would be...yet haha.

Your hair won't grow back for a couple of years and this has got to be an 100% decision. Are you up to it?

You could always fake it.. you can do it without shaving it off. You hair now looks gorgeous!

No way! This will be out so soon! (I hope so anyway) and you will be left with regret trying to grow it out for years!

A girl in my class did it.. she got laughed at. I think it kinda looks awkward especially when it grows to 4inches and the rest of your hair is long.

Side shaves are the most amazing hairstyles I think... who cares if people laugh. the only thing is they take forever to grow out as I have had mine done and its super super frustrating.

Also remember when you decide you want to grow it out it takes years after that its not instant.

It suits you! You should do it! What's the worst that could happen? You dislike it and you have to grow it out. No big deal. Go for it!

If you shave it, do it on your heavy side and switch your normal part for a while, then when you grow it out you can switch back to your normal part to conceal the growing out stages easier!

I would say no but you seem to totally want to go for it - so do it!

You can do it.. and while it grows back do hairstyles on the side to cover it up.

If you do it, then do it at the really side of your head like Rihanna in the picture. Because then when it grows out you can just part your hair so that it will cover the cut :) if that made any sense at all...
