Any makeup artist out there that can give me an example or tell me how I can make a video reel to send to potential employers?

I took all my photos that I wanted to make into a reel and used windows media player to create a showcase, if your doing a shoot you could ask permission to film or if there is behind the scenes footage ask for a copy you can put on youtube and a disc to use as a showreel. Alternatively you could arrange to shoot it your self, book some models and arrange a day where you can be filmed applying the make up and have final images added in. Be careful over music due to copyright issues.
