My doctor gave me birth control for my acne and I have head that it can take many months to start working and that your acne gets way worse before it gets better, how long should it take before it starts working?

It takes about 3 months for your body to get used to the birth control. I used to have HORRIBLE ance in 7th grade but by 8th grade they were hardly there. I stopped taking birth control in 9th grade but my ance is mostly gone and I'm in 11th now.
