Hi, so for almost a year I have experienced pretty moderate acne and I can't stand it anymore. I have many acne scars and big blemishes and it's ruined my self esteem. I say this in all seriousness. I feel disgusting. I know almost everyone has had troubles and I thought I'd maybe get a good opinion. Can I go to my family doctor first to talk about dermatoligists? I'm sick of all of this.. And what products that maybe aren't prescribed would you recommend? I have oily skin with blackheads. My skin is also fair. Thank you for everything. You have no idea how much it means xo.

I have had similar acne problems too. About 2 weeks ago, I started using face wash and toners with the active ingredient "salicylic acid ". Salicylic acid chemically exfoliates pores. I absolutely swear by it :) Target sells many different products with salicylic acid in it

Definitely start drinking a lot of water. anyways I just c recently bought a new face wash and my skin almost completely cleared up in a week. it's the b Olay fresh effects cleanser and brush. I changed out the face wash to the other olay one with the beads because I don't have oily skin. if you do have oily skin stick with the shine go away (:

3 days. I'm three days it cleared up about 80% of my skin. Please take my advice.
You can get this at any whole foods or vitamin cottage or a natural grocers store.
Skin by Ann Webb is the name, and get the spearmint cleanser, pomegranate moisturizer, and tea tree oil break out blaster.

I'd recommend using the Neutrogena Duo Wave. In one wash, it got rid of a majority of my blackheads and a few days later they were completely gone. Also, it cleanses deep to clear up your skin. However, it does dry your skin out. I use Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer with SPF 30. I can honestly say my skin has cleared up so much thanks to the use of these products.

Ask your doc about Benza Clin. It's a salicylic acid like what Valentina said. So effective, really helped clear my skin! You need a prescription for it but it doesn't have to be from a derm, your normal doc can write a prescription for you. It helped me so much I really hope you give it a try.

I know how you feel. when I used to look around at the girls at my school they all had great looking skin. I thought it was so unfair that I was the one who had to spend tons of money on all kinds of products that ended up doing nothing for my acne. my acne wasnt all that horrible, but it made me feel self conscious all the time. I tryed all sorts of washes, cleansers, scrubs, exfoiliators, toners, tea tree oil, spot treatments, and nothing ever seemed to work. one day I was watching tv and I saw a commercial for x-out by proactive. I decided I was going to buy it, I was so fed up with pimples and breakouts that I was willing to do anything. well I researched the product a little and came to the conclusion that this would ruin my skin, make it more prone to wrinkles, and that after a while my skin would become addicted, so that if I stopped using it for a few days,my ance would come back even worse. so I decided I was going to leave that idea behind and buy a clarisonic. they where quite expensive but I'm so glad I purchased mine. I bought the mia2 and I've had it for about a month now. my skin feels so clean and purified after, I could never go back to regular face washing. its amazing and my skin thanks me everyday. my acne keeps going away, and I have seen a huge improvement in the appearance of my skin. I suggest you buy one, you won't regret it. and if you do end up buying one make sure its from a retailer or from the sight. hope I helped!
