Bio-oil on acne prone face.

I noticed on the package of bio-oil that it says it can be used on acne scars on the face without clogging pores or causing more acne. I am unwilling to trust that statement unless I've heard from someone out there that's actually used it on their face and not broken out. Any of you ever use bio-oil on your acne prone skin and not have it cause you to break out? Thanks!

I had oily acne prone skin and I use bio oil like three times a week on my face and it hasn't ever caused breakouts, only reduced the appearance of my acne scars.

It's mostly silicone, so I wouldn't use it on my face. silicones aren't washed off easily, so all the dirt and oil gets stuck under it.

I have extreme skin in the winter it is extremely dry and ance prone and I use bio oil for scaring and dryness and it has never broken me out, in the summer my skin in extremely oily , sensitive and acne prone and I still have no problem breaking out from it using it everyday! If it breaks you out you can discontinue use but it's worth a try!
