Found these in my grandmothers vanity. A powder compact and rouge. They're tarnished but so well made! I've seen curling irons/mirror compacts etc.but never actual product.

What's the oldest makeup you ladies have seen?? 💗

Wow! I don't think I've seen any makeup too old :( Maybe a lip gloss I found in a jewelry box I had when I was like ten lol, I threw that shit out so fast bahaha.

Good idea Marilyn! I think this stuff is beyond using. It's all metal and I doubt the hinges could take daily abuse 😳 I wish!

Clean them and use them as decor on your vanity. Vintage stuff is stronger then we often think. Those hinges may hold up. You can also use then as pill cases etc.

Its beautiful! I love finds like that. Indeed, they definitely don't make things like they used to.

No product, but after my gran died we found a supppper ornate hand mirror that we decided probably belonged to her mother. It's beautiful, I wish I had a picture!

Oh wow! I would put a little white shelf near my vanity to put those on for display, maybe with a vintage perfume bottle. Thankyou for sharing that. The blush is so gorgeous! Great Find!

You have a great part of makeup history :-) does it have initials, it looks like a Elgin piece.

@ Patricia I'm not sure what brand, they don't seem to have any markings on them (another beauty of older items) but I wish I could figure out where they came from! I fully intend to stash them @tara I have the perfect spot on my perfume tray 😉
