A technical smokey eye has a gradient effect, with the darkest color all over your lid and fading to light in the crease. However I do think that it looks good and that the color would probably show up better in different lighting.

It's not a technical smokey eye, but it still looks great! :) Personally, I would've added on some false eyelashes to give it that extra oomph, but that's just personal preference. :)

J.K thank you so much! I added a really light grey shade to the inner corner of my eye close to my tear duct and worked it until about the middle of my eye then used a charcoal grey color in the middle and a black eyeshadow on the outer part of my eye and blended it :)
