Do not wear translucent powder you could have a weird looking complexion. Use matte colors, fill in your brows, do your makeup more vibrant than normal, the flash will make the makeup 2 shades lighter, wear false lashes if you want but not unless you are sure they will stay on and they fit right, put your makeup on in natural light, wear lipgloss, wear black mascara, and wax 48 hours before if you have peach fuzz.

Wear a hairstyle that compliments your face, use products that hold but don't make your hair look stiff, avoid extreme hairstyles.
