My hair is blonde and I did red kool aid in my hair last summer. Looks nice and last around 2 weeks. It's sticky only if you did it with sugar. I suggest using conditioner instead of boiling water if you want it to last longer.

Don't do it! my friend dyed it red and it stayed in WAY longer than 2 weeks.

I recommend just buying a jar of manic panic red hair dye instead.

Kaitlin K, I feel the same, but it is also a bit more of a commitment than the Koolaid, so if they are wanting it to be gone an a couple washes they shouldn't do manic panic or any of those.

My friend tried it with light brown hair and she said she used kool aid. It looked nice and it stayed for about a week and a couple of days (almost 2 weeks)
