You can buy sprays that give you "beach waves" at most drugstores and there are also higher end sprays that you can get that do the same.

Wet your hair and make multiple regular braids. Let that stay overnight and next day they'll be set.

Braid your hair when its damp at night and then put sea salt spray on the braid

When you wash your hair, let it sit in the towel for about 5 minutes and then Split your hair in the middle so you have 2 sections and braid them, sleep with the braces in and take them out in the morning it should look like nice beach waves :)

For me, I just go to bed with damp hair. In the morning my hair is wavy. Then I can just use some anti frizz spray to give them some shine and control.
