Hey, I have an anniversary date tonight and I don't want to go overboard with the makeup, as he is all for the au naturale-me. I want to go with something minimal, yet striking. Please suggest a complete look, eyes, lips and all. Also, any tips to make him fall for me all over again. :)

For the eyes, try using a bit of Vaseline on your eyelashes to make them appear longer and thicker. Also, this strengthens the lashes. It is a nice way for a natural, subtle effect, without the mascara.

Also, try a Lip stain instead of gloss or lipstick. They are very natural looking, extremely light, and don't smudge or run.

I can't part with mascara! Although, I'll go for a lip stain. Do you know any eye makeup that's not very bold, like smoky eyes and all. Just something simple with a little black liner or kohl.

I think for the eyes you should do kind of a natural eyeshadow all over the lid , a highlight and a very smudged eyeliner toward the outer corner. You can use a cheek stain for blush to give you a more natural blush , if you don't have one use a light pinkish lipstick or whichever color suits you best apply it lightly on your cheeks and maybe a highlight on your cheeks and a lip stain. In my opinion that would look like the strikingly gorgeous very natural you.

Thanks Gricelda! Lovely name, btw. :)
And Vlora, as much as I adore that look, I sadly can't do it because I've shoulder length hair with side-swept bangs.

You could put mascara to brighten your eyes and some bb cream to your skin so it can give you a light coverage and in your eye for a natural look could be a beige/brownish eye makeup...

Wish you a great day :))

Your welcome and thank you (: here's a picture that kind resembles what I had in mind with the natural eyeshadow and smudged eyeliner.

For your hairstyle you could either straighten it or curl it to give it some effects and when making the finally look , add a flower on the side of your hair or hairclips or a bow

Depends on your preferances :)

What Do you meann?
if I got it right, and your lips are dry or flacky you can exfoliate them (brown sugar and oil mix, coconut or olive oil) and then moisturize them using Vaseline or lip balm.

but if you're worried of the lipstick fading, try lip stains.

No, Ameera, my lips aren't dry. Bleeding lipstick refers to lipstick fading in the creases of the lips with time.

For bleeding lipstick make sure to apply a lip liner before any other lipstick or lipgloss to avoid bleeding or just try a good lip stain , long wearing lipstick. What I do that sometimes helps too is after I apply a lipstick I will get a light first layer piece of napkin blot my lips with it lightly not to take it off just too somewhat matte it out & then apply a second coat of lipstick and I find it helps the longevity & avoids too much fading.
