Use a topcoat of clear or glitter :) glitter is super tough and keeps polish safe and sound under it haha.

Use nail polish remover first, even if you don't have any nail polish on. Apply a base coat and top coat. Also applying a top coat daily will also keeps chipping from happening faster.

Just a tip, it might depend in what top coat you're using- I find any top coat by Essie, O.P.I, or Color Club works great :)
