Well your hair looks pretty straight on your profile. Maybe use a straightener/flat iron a little higher on heat (with protectant) and go smaller pieces of hair at a time.

I think you should just keep it like that, and if you really hate it when it's not straightened, wear makeup or a hot outfit to take the attention away from your hair.

For pin straight hair, flat iron with a comb or a brush. When you straighten a section, hold a small tooth comb or paddle brush 1 inch in front of the flat iron. With both tools, glide down the hair

Try blow drying after shower. Then straighten on high heat. :)
