Is there a hair color out there this purple but close to black? I would really like to try that out.

the hair dye rusk i think is purple passion is a very dark purple, but after about 6 washes it turn back to blonde. I like it because i change my hair color a lot.
In the photo i used the purple passion mostly on my bangs and used manic panic purple haze for the rest of the purple. My purple and blue is also cheetah print and faded very nicely.

If you'd like to stay close to black and DON'T want to bleach your hair, then you should try getting a cream box dye in BLUE/BLACK =D It gives a blue/purple shine when in light. I would suggest using a 30 Vol developer. But if you intend on bleaching your hair, then Manic Panic has some good dark purple dyes, Good Luck!

N' rage in purple plum is pretty dark. You can find that at sally's for about 9 bucks. It does glow really purple in the sun though and subtle effects in doors
