The salon made my hair to dark.

Ugh I went a salon yesterday the lady put protein filler in my hair cuz it was still blonde in my hair. She dyed my hair this color cuz it was close to the darkest color I had in my hair. Then said wait a month or more to come back and try to get it bright red. Why can't I just use loreal hicolor hilights? We got two boxes yesterday and protein filler in case the color washes out. An I bought riveting reds.

I'm not sure, because I haven't personally used the high lift colors, but I think they're only effective on naturally dark hair. I don't think it can promise the same results to pre-colored hair that it can virgin hair. Again, I don't have personal experience with these products, its just something I heard.

Box color is not good for anyones hair let alone someone who already has heavily processed hair. unless youre ok with shaving your head next stick to your stylists advice.
