I think the short would look great with black skinny jeans and the skirt would look good with a plain black tank top. But maybe you can start this trend celebs do it why can't we! If you feel confident go for it!

Not the outfit together! I like the pieces themselves! The skirt would kick butt with a black crop top or regular tank. The shirt would look good with white shorts or black jeggings!

I think you should wear a plain top with the skirt or plain skirt with the top personally but it's your choice
