So I gave birth to my beautiful baby girl 3 monthes ago but I have horrible purple stretch marks on my upper legs and sides... moisturise everyday and sometimes use oil but was wondering what worked best for you to help reduce the apperance? thanks!

I'm not a Mom but I have stretch marks, and I use cocoa butter everyday and my marks on my thighs have faded a lot. If you use cocoa butter you have to use it everyday in order for it to work, I stopped after like two weeks and they came back a dark red.

Accept that they may not ever go away, that there is no miracle for them...
They are scars, more or less permanent, so get them lasered! Mine were purple too, they have since faded to white (maybe a year or so after I had my son) and I don't really let them bother me. I look at them as reminders not to turn into a fatty again cause losing my baby weight sucked!!

try Mederma for stretchmarks therapy its about $35 but works wonders. I had some really dark purple ones by my belly from my sons pregnancy.
they faded away and are not noticeable you should definitely try it.

They really don't go away but the color will fade leaving the marks a bit lighter then your skin.

Also, you can get laser treatment to remove them but that would cost a lot.

Tiffany. its hereditary.. some ppl never get them. some of us are cursed. lol.. the most you can do is keep your belly moistured so you don't get the marks for itchy stretching skin. don't scratch.. I kept so much cream on my belly, it stretched like crazy but I never had an itch. lol.
I have marks, I hear bio oil works and mederma.
I haven't Been consistent with bio oil so I can't comment for myself. I barely get to finding my shower. the kid literally bangs on the door. lol.
laser surgery is not guaranteed to clear it completely. try bio oil with cocoa butter. you should see results.
