Well it's not really a story, but I wanted to share something that happened to me today.

Lately I've really been into more edgy fashion, hair styles and makeup.

Today I wore my hair in a high bun with a spiked head band, with a peplum top with spiked shoulder pads and skinny blue jeans. I had a soft dark smokey like eye makeup.

This lady walked past me and said "You are by far the prettiest Goth I have ever seen!"

I felt so awkward I didn't even respond I just sort of mumbled like an idiot, tripped on my own feet and walked away!

Does it seriously only take a couple of spikes to be considered goth?

I am the furthest from being goth!

Wow lol, I don't think spike makes you be considered as a goth, but maybe because there is many spikes? you could take off your spiked headband too.
I love spikes they are cool, and so is your outfit!

One day I was running late for school and threw on a pair of black jeans and a black shirt and this kid asked me "are..are you goth?" I didn't really know how to respond to that because I completely disagree! :) isn't it awkward?

Ppl just think I'm schizo one day I look like Barbie pink clothes sparkly makeup and the next in rocking turquoise hair and a dark smoky eye lol. But I get what your saying when I was in school all it took was wearing black shirts like two days in a row and black converse plus pink hair to have everyone asking are you goth/punk/emo I was like omg get back to me when you actually know what any of those words mean.

And yes it felt very awkward! I am by far the furthest person to being goth hahaha.
I'm like a little ball of excitement and sunshine, not black, darkness :p
