I love their lipsticks, pro longwear foundation, eyeshadows.. And mineralize powder. I hate their mascaras.. But the brand is pricey.

I haven't tried any products from them, but I just don't see anything that I would like. I love lipsticks, but none of their lipstick colors "wow" me at all...

I don't like ordering cheaper or discounted products from m.a.c I've did that and learned. from Amazon and I got fake brushes and was soooooooo over it too. I knew it was to good to be true

Mac actually does pallettes like that you just need to pick the color and they put it in a pallet , one eye shadow is 20$ if you pick 4 colors it would be like 80$ I was just at MAC last week and one of the girls actually gave me this site & pinterest actually recommends it too.

I think it can be a bit over rated cuz they have a cult following. Like some ppl won't use anything but MAC. I do think they have some really good products and they aren't that expensive compared to the other high end brands. Like their lipstick is $15 while other brands have lipstick $20+. Mac has some really classic colors.

I like the lipstick but I only own one so far and not many of their other products interest me enough to buy anything else. Their packaging also bores me to tears. Sure it looks professional but I like that most of the eyeshadow palettes I buy have a distinct look so I know exactly what I'm looking for. Just thinking about their foundations makes me cringe though. I've heard terrible things about them and since I have acne prone skin I would run for the hills if someone tried to use it on me lol. Overall I've never been interested in their brand much. It seems to be all about the name and I feel like I'm probably getting better quality items from other brands.

Love the pro Longwear and studio fix foundations! For eye shadows, try bhcosmetics.com! Amazing amazing eye shadow and blush! It is super cheap, like real cheap, and is just as good as Mac. It's professional makeup, but affordable. As for lipsticks there are plenty of drugstore brands that compare very close to Mac!

MAC has is strengths and weaknesses. I love their shadows and lipsticks but their brushes are way over priced and their foundations and concealers are way too heavy to wear every day. They started as a professional line- used for runways and photoshoots only and for some reason people think its ok to wear that stuff everyday and then wonder why their skin breaks out.
Anything in powder form is good, I seriously live for their fluidline gel liners though. to say as a whole if they are good or bad isnt really definable. the things they do right are spot on, its just a few of their things that are lacking.
