Should I use bb cream or cc cream? What is the difference? And what are the best brands to get that aren't too expensive.

It depends on what you need it for. a bb cream is a beauty balm that is like a tinted moisturizer with low coverage but also has skin brighters, toners and anti aging and a lot of other things great for your skin so after using the bb cream for a while your skin will look and feel better without any products on. cc cream is a color correcting cream and has all the beauty benefits of bb cream except its targeted for more discoloration on the face. like if you have really red areas on your face the cc cream will counter act the red to give you an all over even skin tone. both are great for your skin and for giving you nice completion without looking like you have makeup on. hope this helped!

Thanks! I think I will try a bb cream. Do you know good brand I should try?

I went to the makeup store with my best friend to test out some BB creams. Personally, I'm a medium to full coverage kind of girl, but I always help out my friends who prefer to look more natural day to day. On the prestige side, we tried out Urban Decay Naked Skin and Too Faced Beauty Balm. Both were extremely light in coverage, like glorified tinted moisturizers. Then we tried Garnier's formula. It was perfect, with buildable light to medium coverage with the light feel and skincare correction that a BB cream is supposed to have. I highly recommend it!

For drugstore brands I agree with mary I got samples of garnier bb cream and it only comes in two shades and I tried both and saw no difference in color I also really like the mabelline bb cream it comes in more colors and I think has a little bit more coverage but is still very natural looking. for a higher end one it gets a little more categorized they make some that have better anti aging than others or ones that tone better. sephora.com has a nice tool that can help find one perfect for your skin. dr jart has a bunch of bb creams for almost everything you could possibly want. I also like ud naked. the higher end ones usually only have one color so are less coverage but better for your skin than the drugstore brands. you can always mix a little of your foundation in to make it a little higher coverage too.
