The color is spotty and it looks gray in some areas. You should use a primer first or even a lip pencil before the lipstick to give it a smooth, one-colored finish.

This is all lip pencil! I used two. I was going for Kandee Johnsons "Red Velvet" look.

But thank you Cassandra for your advice. What's a good lip primer? Also I feel like my lips get real flaky after awhile...would the primer solve that or do I need something else?
