Do a simple braid :) that helps my sister since she has long thick hair that's hard to tame before she goes to bed she puts a simple braid maybe that'll help you :)

Try getting a silk pillow case, it prevents friction from movies around which is what causes messy bed hair, and then your hair won't be as frizzy and wild in the morning.
You can also try tying it down. A loose braid is gentle enough to not pull on your hair but still give you the hold you need to keep your hair in place all night.
