This morning I put in my makeup in this order::
-moisturizer
-primer
-concealer
-foundation (liquid)
-setting powder
-bronzer/blush
-eyes
Well, I went to start my car this morning and came back in and my face was a dry and flakey. So I waged my face, and used apricot exfoliating scrub, then I moisturized and followed the same steps... An hour later... My nose upper checks and forehead where all flakey again. What the hell am I doing wrong??!!??

Is it just the foundation? Or maybe if it's fall where you live.. The colder weather by me has been drying my face out so bad.

It is fall and this morning it was -4.5°c out and then 19.8°c out by morning... If it's due to the weather what can I do to help fix this??

Moisturize more than normal and use a night cream before bed and a moisturizing mask like two or three times a week.

Its not your make up its because of the weather. It happens to me to when it becomes colder. You need more moisturizer. I use a heavier moisturizer fall and winter. Also an oily foundation some times as I need it.

Any recommendations for a heavy moisturizer? I have acne prone skin so I'm really scared to switch as I finally found one that isn't messing up my face :s so I'll take any advice ya got!!

Try using the round exfoliating sponges, Not the cotton ones, and exfoliate your whole face for 1 min to remove dead skin. Which causes flakiness.

Thanks @lia l. I just did an intense hydration mask so hopefully my skin will be happier tomorrow :):) I hate Canada weather!! Lol it's either cold and dry or hot and dry!!
