From what I can tell from your pictures (to get an idea of how you look) I don't think it would be the best for how short your hair is. Maybe try something that doesn't require you to bleach your hair (I am really not all for bleaching because it is terrible for your hair, I know from experience). What I see that is quite in style now is the darker brown hair (like yours) with chestnut or copper highlights placed randomly throughout a person's hair. More like accents. It gives you a change in your hair that isn't that drastic, and doesn't require you to bleach your hair.

Hair like that requires a full transformation. I agree, a level or 2 darker, but it'd be cute. :) a lot of maintenance.
