I've been trying to let my hair grow and during this process I've been thinking about getting new highlights. Idk what color and I'm too scared to dye it :( Help? please. I could use some pictures, thanks :*

Honestly, as a woman of color. Coloring the hair (lightening it) is not a smart move. I had long hair all my life then when I bleached it and dyed it red. Within a year, I had to cut my hair because it was so damaged. My biggest advice is to get a pack of hair(color #33, or something) and then make your own clip in highlights. It's so easy. I've done this and several full clip in sets. If you make them yourself it's so much cheaper and you can customize it how you wanted. http://youtu.be/r0V2zR_pGLo.

True, I got highlights before and I had to make sure I took care of my hair since I put more chemicals in it. I'm so tired of this old look! Mama wants some change! lol.
