Babyliss, I also do hair. Went through too many chi irons. They were the best like more than ten years ago. Now so many other irons have come a long way and chi is cheap quality. I also like babyliss!!

Also Chi sold their.company to new owners, they kept the Chi name but changed out the components in the electrical box and you used to be able to send them back and get a replacement but now they don't do that anymore, and the new electrical box have a problems with shorting out.

Bb. Chi sucks apples, rubbing two stones together is more reliable at this point lol.

I love babyliss as being a hairstylist also! I had a few chis but they'd always break and don't have a temPerature dial.

I think its babyliss for hairstylists all around! I like it better especially because there is a temperature sitting. I always had to go borrow another stylists babybliss when I was doing keretin treatments that needed a specific temp setting because my CHI didn't have one. You'll get your money's worth :]

Lol! Chi can suck it! Their products and color has always been crap too.

@Mary, YES! When I first started doing hair I was using their products, and the iron guard stuff...Oh I hate it now. It didn't protect the hair, it broke it more! My hair looked terrible when I first started just cause I tried everything without knowing any background knowledge on it. Never tried their color. But if it's anything like the products, I can see what you'd say that.

Hairstylist here... Babyliss. Or infrashine.... Agreed chi irons are NOT anything what they used to be. Also most chi irons do not have heat gauges and that's not good considering they get up to 392.
