For lipstick I find that Maybelline, NYX, Milani and Wet n Wild have been good. Outperforming many of my high-end lippies. I have had success with Garnier BB cream for oily/combo skin. I have Bobbi Brown and Smashbox BB creams I haven't reached for them that much because Garnier just outperforms them both. Maybelline Fit Me Stick foundation performs just as well as my Giorgio Armani Maestro foundation and both give me the same finish. $6 vs $65. I haven't wandered off into drugstore concealers yet...I have only one from NYX...its not superior to my Bobbi Brown concealer but it comes in close.

Hmm, it really depends where you live. I am in Canada and we have Shoppers drugmart and a lot of them carry brands like smashbox and vichy and laura mercier and more high end stuff. If you are looking for more cost effective stuff I usually stick with L'Oreal or Covergirl for foundations and stuff like that. For eyes and cheeks really just go with a colour from any brand that you like!

Revlon color stay foundation is very good better than some of the higher end foundations I've tried.the cover girl 3-1 foundation is also very good... wet n wild has very nice products, just tried one of their lip sticks and it is super pigmented! just look on you tube for some reviews or on here and try some stuff out... I stayed away from drugstore make up for many years and this past year I've been buying more and its improved a lot in most companies.

Foundation: L'Oreal True Match, Revlon Colorstay
Concealer/Undereye concealer: Maybelline
Lips: Rimmel
Eyeshadow: Revlon, Almay, Marcelle
I personally don't contour or highlight but a lot of people use NYX eyeshadow in Taupe for contouring.
NYX makes some great products, they weren't where I live in Canada for a long time so I've just started exploring their products.

NYX has a great contouring kit, and I love Revlon Nearly Naked foundation and Hard Candy Glamoflauge concealer, as well as Rimmel's Stay Matte pressed powder and their Fix & Perfect primer. Wet N Wild has some great lipsticks, they're really creamy and have good staying power :)
